These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any content, tools, demonstrations, or materials made available on it (together, the “Site”), operated by Project Black Box LLC (“Project Black Box,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is provided for general informational, educational, and research purposes only. Any interactive demonstrations, including memory demonstrations and depictions of model behavior, are illustrative and are not a production service, a professional tool, or a substitute for professional judgment. Content may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may be unavailable at any time.
Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, medical, financial, security, engineering, investment, or other professional advice. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on the Site, and you should independently verify any information before relying on it. Any output produced by a demonstration is provided for illustration only and may be inaccurate or wrong.
Statements describing the behavior of third-party artificial intelligence models are research findings that reflect measurements we made under our own testing conditions. They describe observations we recorded and are offered as good-faith research, commentary, and criticism. They are not statements about any third party’s products or services beyond those observations, and they are not a guarantee that any result will recur. All third-party names, model names, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for identification, comparison, and commentary. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any such party.
All content, design, text, graphics, code, and materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to Project Black Box LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. The methods, techniques, and internal mechanisms behind our research and tools are proprietary trade secrets and are not disclosed on the Site. Nothing on the Site grants you any license or right to any such intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the underlying methods of anything on the Site.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, probe or test the vulnerability of any system, interfere with its operation, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or restrict access at our discretion.
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content is accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project Black Box LLC and its owners, members, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Project Black Box LLC and its owners, members, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
